LG 2020 Gram laptops get 10th generation Ice Lake processors
LG has unveiled 2020 versions of its Gram laptops and the new lineup
includes 17, 15 and 14 inch models as well as a 2-in-1 convertible. Like
previous versions, laptops are designed to be lightweight and portable, with
long battery life, and LG promises better performance and efficiency with new
components.
New laptops implement 10th generation Intel Core processors with Iris Plus graphics and up to 24GB dual-channel DDR4 RAM. LG points out that it has doubled the power of the GPU on new laptop models, to ensure that games and demanding applications run smoothly.

Upgraded devices also support the next-generation Wi-Fi 6 standard, which promises higher speeds and lower power consumption than its predecessor. To ensure that 17-inch and 15-inch Gram laptops can support their upgraded components, LG has equipped them with 80Wh batteries (an improvement over 72Wh from previous models).
The 17-inch LG Gram has a Wide Quad Extended Graphics Array (WQXGA) IPS display, with 16:10 aspect ratio, while other models have Full HD screens and 16: 9 aspect ratio. When it comes to 2-in-1 convertible models, this device comes with a Thunderbolt 3 port and can last over 20 hours with a single battery charge.
