Russia got their first anchorman robot
A humanoid robot named Alex began reading the news on Russian state
television "Rasha 24". A silicon face presenter presented some
ordinary news, and spoke of a shocking case in which an opposition activist
allegedly kicked a street cat.
The humanoid presenter was made by Russian startups "Promobot". Alex's face moves thanks to 29 engines and is modeled to look like the founder of the company, Alexey Yuzhakov.
According to the company, Alex's development cost more than a million rubles ($ 15,600), and "Promobot" received orders for 12 more humanoids.

From the television they said that their latest presenter is of Russian origin and that the software and almost all components were produced in the country.
Here we can mention a completely incoherent example of the Russian robots on state television. Namely, in December last year, "Rasha 24" showed a shot of a humanoid robot called "Robot Boris" on the scene of a youth forum for robotics. But eventually it turned out to be a man in a costume.
Anyway, Alex is definitely a robot. At least we hope so.
