IBM is buying Red Hat for a huge $ 34 billion

Ordinary internet users usually consider Linux world as an unknown and considers it unimportant. However, most of us know that the majority of the websites we open every day work on one of the Linux versions.

This open source operating system is most widely distributed to servers around the world, as well as in the services offered through those servers, or Cloud services. Red Hat is one of the most famous names in this business in the Linux world and now the company is part of another huge IT industry, IBM.

IBM and Red Hat announced this weekend that they have signed a contract for the purchase of Red Hat by IBM for a $34 billion deal. The value per share that IBM will pay is $190, and the value traded by the stock is around $117.

Red Hat will become part of IBM, but will continue its core services. The company's director will join IBM's management team, which will boost this company with its knowledge.

The main reason IBM buys this company is because cloud services are becoming more and more popular, but not always offered by companies as an open solution, or an open source solution. IBM is expected to be one of the largest companies in this business, which still has a large space for growth. According to CNBC, this is IBM's biggest bargain, and is also the third largest in the IT industry in the United States.
